The apple project was a true success!
The children manipulated the materials given at the tables to describe how they would represent what
they have learnt and ended like this.....
The apple tasting of red, yellow and green
Inquiry lead us to graph that the majority of the class preferred green apples over red and yellow that day.
Apple cut-outs left on the table presenting three colours and size difference lead the children discovering patterns and size comparisons.
Counting and number recognition, we created apples using our fine motor skills to be aware of our spatial awareness to make the apples fit in the basket.
Roll the dice and count the dots to find out what part of the apple piece we need to colour! self regulation to stop and go!
Stay tuned for Science with Nancy pictures next week!
